About
An AI news magazine, reported in the open
Precis Daily is a daily magazine covering artificial intelligence: the models, the research, the products, the open-source projects, and the rules being written around all of it.
Every story starts from a named source — a lab announcement, a paper, a repository, a regulator's filing — and always links back to it. We summarize and contextualize; we never launder an unsourced claim.
How a story gets made
- Feeds from labs, blogs, and press outlets are fetched several times a day.
- An importance score keeps the daily edition small — typically three to five stories.
- Each draft is written locally with a language model, then checked by automated quality gates: length, English ratio, banned phrases, duplicate detection, source presence.
- Covers are AI-generated illustrations and are always labeled as such.
- Nothing is published automatically. A human publishes.
