How we use sources
Precis Daily reports on publicly available material: lab announcements, research papers, release notes, repository documentation, regulatory filings, and press coverage. We link to the original, summarize it in our own words, and attribute it by name. We do not reproduce full articles, substantial excerpts, or paywalled text. Our automated pipeline is configured to respect each site's robots.txt terms, including crawler restrictions, before fetching anything.
Quotations
Where we quote, we quote narrowly — short, attributed fragments used for verification and context — consistent with fair-use practice. Every quotation on this site is intended to point you back to the original, not to replace it.
Our content
Unless a page states otherwise, the writing on this site is ours. You are welcome to quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing full articles, training datasets, or substantial portions of the site requires written permission: corrections@ainews.space.
Cover illustrations
Cover images on this site are AI-generated editorial illustrations, labeled as such in their captions. They are not photographs, and they do not depict real people as if photographed. They may not be reused as depictions of real events or individuals.
Automated access
Our crawler identifies itself as PrecisDailyBot with a link back to this site and a contact address, and it only fetches from publishers whose terms permit it. If you operate a site and want us to stop fetching, add a rule to your robots.txt or email us and we will honor it.
Removal requests
If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, email corrections@ainews.space with the URL, a description of the work, and your contact details. We act quickly: verified claims result in the article being unpublished or removed, with the action recorded on our public corrections log. Counter-notices are handled the same way — by email, with a human reading them.
Third-party licenses
The software pipeline behind this site uses open-source components under their own licenses; the inventory is kept in LICENSES.md in the repository. Third-party works we link to remain under the copyright of their publishers.
