Editorial Standards

Sourcing
Every published story carries a source name and a link to the original material. We do not publish anonymous claims, rumors, or screenshots without a verifiable primary source. When we cover a paper, we link the paper; when we cover a release, we link the release notes or repository.
AI assistance
Stories are drafted with the help of local language models and the pipeline is open: the scoring, classification, and quality-gate steps are documented in our architecture notes. AI assistance is a drafting tool, not a substitute for verification. Every story must pass automated quality gates (length, language, duplication, source presence) and is published only by a human.
Illustrations
Cover images are AI-generated illustrations created for the story. Each one carries the caption “Illustration: AI-generated for this story.” They are not photographs of the events being reported, and they never depict real people as if photographed.
Corrections
Errors are corrected in place with a dated correction note at the foot of the article. To report an error, email corrections@ainews.space with the article URL and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days.
Independence
Precis Daily takes no payment for coverage, accepts no sponsored articles, and discloses no affiliate arrangements. Sections and emphasis are editorial choices made from the day's source material.
Reuse
Headlines and summaries may be quoted with attribution and a link to the canonical URL. Full articles may be syndicated only with permission. Source material remains under its original publisher's license.
