Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
Precis Daily is a reading site, not a data business. The short version: we do not use cookies, we do not run third-party analytics or advertising, and we do not build profiles of our readers.
What we do not collect
- No cookies or local storage for tracking purposes.
- No third-party analytics, pixels, or advertising networks.
- No accounts, no login, no personal dashboard.
- No behavioral profiling or personalization based on your reading.
What may be processed automatically
Like any web server, ours records standard technical logs (IP address, requested path, time, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are operational data: they are not joined with anything else, not sold, and not used to track you across the web.
Third-party links
Articles link out to original sources — lab announcements, papers, repositories, press outlets. Following those links takes you to those sites, whose own privacy policies apply from that point on. We do not pass anything about you to them.
Content generation
Our editorial process uses automated tools to help summarize sources and create illustrations. No reader data is involved. See our Editorial Standards for details.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal accounts, there is typically no personal data of yours for us to correct or erase. If you believe we hold data connected to you (for example, an email you sent us), write to corrections@precisdaily.com and we will remove it unless we are legally required to keep it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add a feature that processes personal data, we will update this page before it goes live and date the change above.
